[FANFIC] never gonna leave this bed

Fandom is Exit Tunes Presents ACTORS, ship is TakaRei - Takato Kiyosu and Rei Ichijoudani, and as we all should know by now, my fic sappiness is directly correlated to my stress levels.

I have no excuses for this fic. It kind of just. Happened. And I let it happen.

Kiyosu’s hands aren’t reaching for Hanakuma’s side of the bed at all.

Kiyosu’s hands – outstretched, searching, pleading – are in fact reaching for Rei.

“...Hanakuma’s probably not coming back for the night, isn’t he,” Rei tells himself, fully aware that speaking it out loud does not make it any less of a lie. “He’s probably out there, he probably saw Shirou, and they – no stop thinking about that! – ehrm, anyway, he’s probably not returning.”

“And this one here just looks so pitiful.”

[fanfic] the world is falling in love (ch.1&2)

On the off-chance that any of you follow me on twitter, this is the thing I keep previewing lately, under the hashtag #ハニワAU (HoneyWorks Alternate Universe) – a series of fanfiction involving the characters from the multimedia franchise Exit Tunes Presents ACTORS, heavily based off HoneyWorks’ songs from the Confession Executive Committee series.

Due to the...err, emotional rollercoaster tendencies of this fic (in my friend Nii’s all-too-accurate words – “pain on top of more pain”), I am doing my best to somehow upload two chapters at a time! ...I shall do my best to stick to this somehow, haha.

Chapter 1 (Takato + Rei) | Wattpad link

“One is not ‘skipping’ when one has already properly delegated one’s tasks beforehand.” Rei says, lifting one perfect eyebrow, looking Takato straight in the eye. “The things I do for you. I swear, it’s like you’re a child who needs twenty-four-seven supervision.” For some reason, Takato’s cheeks quickly color red, and he steps away from Rei, quickly, as if he’d just been burned.

He doesn’t know when it started, but somewhere along the way Mitsuki wished he could just do something selfish like keep Rei in his secret room with him for the rest of recorded history. “Ah,” Keishi had said, his eyes twinkling, when Mitsuki had been too careless and let that one slip. “That’s what they call ‘love’, isn’t it?” “How did you know...?” “Because you sounded like a TV drama, Mitsuki.”

This one has a bunch of repeats from my last ETPA video (Love Trial), but to be honest I just did this trial (ha) for the first line ("I'm a jerk who wishes the guy you like already has someone else"), which uses the introductions from their respective Extra Edition crossfades and was harder than it ended up looking like!

Masaru: Buchou, what is it?

Hajime: Yes! Whatever it is, I will do it!

Kakeru: Uwah, there it is, again???? I don't wanna be carried again!!!!!

Rei: Calm down. Gohonmatsu and [Kiriyama] will be handling the first years (?), so *that* over there will take care [of things].

Kakeru: Ehh? *That*? But who do you mean by *that*...

Takato: [sighs] Oi. I'm helpin' ya out here, stop calling me *that*!

Mitsuki: It's nice to eat the food we want to eat, right? This cheeseburger isn't that bad.

Rei: Mitsuki. Stop being too lax on Kiyosu.

Takato: -are you my parents??? It tastes good so it's all right, isn't it???

Rei: I'm not your parent, but still, you have to be careful.

Takato: [clears throat] Yeah, yeah...

Ryuunosuke: Yes, what is it?

Hozumi: Ryuunosuke-kun, why do you always go out on nanpa with Takato-kun?

Takato: It's cuz he's riding on the coattails of my sparkling charisma!!! Right, Ryuunosuke?

Ryuunosuke: When I'm going on nanpa with Takato...well, seeing if I can overcome the high hurdle [of being seen with Takato] is fun.

Takato: ...stop trying to pick a fight and hurting me.

Ryuunosuke: That's right, surely you can succeed at at least ONE nanpa. [?]

Takato: Mghh...huu, you and Rei have way too much fun using the exact same reasons, don't you...what am I to you, a toy????

Ryuunosuke: [chuckles] So Rei said the same thing, huh?

Takato: Don't laugh!!!!!

Hozumi: Ehh? Rei-kun goes on nanpa too??

Ryuunosuke: Yes, he did. In fact that makes me Takato's second nanpa partner.

Hozumi: That's a shock! I can't see Rei-kun wanting to go on nanpa, that's unexpected.

Takato: More than meeting a girl, I think that guy just wanted to succeed at nanpa, so I guess that's how he got interested.

Ryuunosuke: Haha, it's just like [Rei], isn't it?

Takato: The targets aren't difficult for him, that annoying guy. He'd be devastatingly good at lavish nanpa successes, at words, but then he'll just go and leave...[?]

Ryuunosuke: Sort of like a "catch and release", isn't it?

Takato: Before my eyes I'd see [Rei] move on to the next thing [he] saw, as if my emotions were [insignificant] like insects--! [sobs] [?]

Chiguma: AAAAAAAHH!!

Takato: W-what is it?

Chiguma: There's no signal in here! I can't play this game...

Takato: Kuh-! Stop sayin' misleading stuff, Marume! Haa, this is enough, I'm going back! This forest is creepy!! Ah, mou--! [runs away, sobs]

Rei: Oi, Kiyosu! Stop leaving without permission!

Takato: [strangled voice] Ghost stories???

Rei: Oh, that does sound good.

Ryuunosuke: It sounds good to tell stories one by one until we end up with a hundred...

Takato: O-oi, Ryuunosuke, what are you planning...

Ryuunosuke: [happy] This is really a great idea! Let's do it! Ghost story-telling!

Itto: Aah, where we all tell scary stories! I know that!

Rei: [smug] What's the matter, Kiyosu? Can't you take a scary story?

Takato: [strangled voice] It's not like that-!! [forced, modulated voice] It's not like that at all, okay??
